Based in Skibbereen, West Cork Distillers was founded in 2003 by John O’Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy
and has since grown to a team of over 80 people. Leveraging an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for both the science
and art of distilling, they have been recognised for their innovative approach and credited with maturing, distilling and
bottling some of the finest craft Irish Whiskey and Gins on the market today.

West Cork itself has a proud history in artisan food and beverage production and at West Cork Distillers, they are fully intend to
uphold this fine reputation. Sourcing ingredients locally where possible and are committed to providing sustainable employment
to this unspoiled part of the world they call home.
