Launched in 1994, the Hakushu 18-year-old is the only age statement from the distillery still in production.
A perennial favourite and a must-try for anyone interested in discovering Japanese whisky. Hakushu is owned by Suntory, the founders of the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki.

Suntory Holdings can trace their history all the way back to February 1 1899 when their founder opened his first store, they are now one of the worlds largest producer of distilled beverages. The Yamazaki and Hakushu malt distilleries and Chita grain distillery in their portfolio. From these three starting points they produce a wide range of blended and single malt whiskies, catering to both the palates at home and abroad. Some of their brand labels are now discontinued which gives them further appeal to the collector and the whisky aficionado.
