The Chase of Fame is an exclusive 10-year-old cask-strength single malt whiskey from a Founding Father of the Dingle Distillery. Cask number 98, bottled at 59.7% vol. This is a rare Dingle 10-year-old matured in a wine cask, and only a very limited number of the bottles produced are made available for general sale.

Fully matured for 10 years, exclusively in a French wine cask from the prestigious Chateau D Ampuis, The Chase of Fame is a complex interaction between a single malt spirit and a French wine cask of the highest quality with multiple yet beautifully balanced layers and depth of flavour. As confirmed by Dingle Distillery’s Master Distiller, Graham Coull, “This cask is well matured with a lovely balance of dried fruit and spice.”


Chateau D Ampuis estate is situated in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Its exceptional-quality wines are aged in virgin oak barrels made with finely grained wood from the best forests in France. These traditional methods confer a unique status on the GUIGAL estate, as its top wines can be aged for up to three and a half years before bottling.
