A member of Macallan's 1700 Series the Macallan Director's Edition was discontinued in 2012 in preparation of the release of 1824 series.
1700 was the year that The Macallan's home, Easter Elchies House, was built on the banks of the river Spey.
This is a sublime whisky from the Macallan, for those who demand and appreciate the finest in life - the "Director's Edition".
